On 4 January 2020, Bismoy Mazumder, attended the 2020 Global Annual Leadership Conference, held at the Jiangmen Sports Centre Stadium, in Guangzhou, China.
Bismoy gave a research update on the Cambridge Infinitus Research Centre (CIRCE) for the period of 2016-2019. His presentation covered the control of oxidative stress in neural cells, and lipid accumulation in liver cells, using natural compounds from Infinitus. He also discussed optogenetics and the development of super resolution visualisation technology at CIRCE.
The event was attended by around 20,000 people from various backgrounds other than science, for example, reporters, sales persons, company directors, and business partners of Infinitus.
